Special Grade 1 is HVC's top specialty washed grade — homogeneous colour, minimal defects and a cup with intense acidity and very well-rounded body.
Overview
Special Grade 1 allows 5–8 defects in a 300 g sample with no primary defects. Screen: 50% at screen 16+, maximum 5% below screen 14.
Beans are washed with fresh, homogeneous colour — selected and prepared for buyers who need a genuine specialty Peruvian offering.
We provide cup analysis and traceability reports for specialty lots, connecting roasters in the US, Europe and Japan with defined producer groups in Peru.
