Start with the grade
Peruvian export coffee is classified by defect count and screen size. Grade 2 MCM and Grade 2 MC are top commercial grades; Grade 3, Mix Plus and Peruvian Mix serve value and industrial programs. For specialty, see Special Grade 1, Premium SHB and Gourmet HB.
Decide on certification
If your customers require sustainability credentials, ask for certified coffee — Rainforest Alliance, UTZ, Fair Trade or organic (NOP/EU/JAS). Confirm the organic scheme matches your destination market.
Contract and ship
